Labor Day Weekend Service Schedule

We will have ALL regularly scheduled morning services on Sunday, September 5. There will be NO evening activities. The church office will be closed on Monday, September 6.

The Music Ministry of Springfield Baptist Church is about INSPIRING and INCLUDING both the family of God and anyone wanting to know more about Christ.

Music, drama, video, interpretive movement - all of these creative arts have the power to move us and INSPIRE us.  At Springfield Baptist we use these arts to teach vital truths about our Savior.  Our prayer is that Jesus would be lifted up with excellence.  When Christ is lifted up and when He is our focus, HE will
INSPIRE believers and draw all people to Himself.

Worship services at Springfield Baptist are designed to INCLUDE elements for every generation and for many musical preferences.  You will find great hymns of the faith side by side with contemporary expressions of praise and worship.  Our blended service is offered at both 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays.  A typical service may include both
"Here I Am to Worship" and "Great Is Thy Faithfulness."   Worship Services are also carefully planned around a theme, usually coinciding with the pastor's topic.  A service focusing on the majestic power of our Creator might include Chris Tomlin's "How Great Is Our God" and the long-beloved hymn "How Great Thou Art."

INCLUSION
is also important in allowing people to use their God-given gifts in the church.  I Peter 4:10 says, "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms."  We are always looking for people who love to sing, play instruments, or want to serve in the technical support area.
